Titanium Parallel Plier with Hoister and Lanyard

Since 2020, Firenock has been dedicated to crafting a superior parallel plier. We are proud to present the culmination of six generations of prototypes, meticulously hand-built and individually tested in Henry, Illinois, USA, which reflects our commitment to quality and precision.

Our US patent-pending parallel plier is a product of innovation and exclusivity. It weighs in at 4.00 oz and boasts a maximum jaw opening of 0.525" or 13.5mm, surpassing any similar design on the market. The unique scissor handle and other innovative features set it apart from the rest.

This plier consists of six CNC-machined GR5 titanium parts (four handle pieces and two jaw pieces), five sets of GR5 titanium mating screws, three sets of oil-impregnated machine brass screws, and a piano stainless steel wire retraction spring. (An industrial rubber band version will be available for those who demand a 100% nonmagnetic tool, such as in an MRI room or near high-power DC motors). The four mating titanium screws are individually hand-fitted and diamond-ground for maximum tolerance control, providing a luxurious feel and precise operation.

Since all parts are corrosion-resistant, it will be great for those who love saltwater fishing and boating. We tested this capability by submerging it in saltwater outside under direct sunlight for over six months, with no adverse effects. A hook barb-flattering notch and sleeve crimp were built into the jaws for fishing use. For those interested in using this in the MRI room, we shall offer another version that uses an industrial rubber band instead of the piano-wire retraction spring to avoid any effect on the MRI room's extreme magnetic field. The current version will be great for electric cars and wind turbines, where a reasonably large magnetic field is present. Titanium and Brass will not be affected by magnetic fields.

To make it readily usable, we have designed a holster and lanyard for it. The hoster is made from veg-tanned scuba leather, with an embossed Firenock logo on the front, and three drain holes at the back for quick water drainage. The hoster is a structure formed. It has a marine-grade brass D-ring at the back for lanyard attachment. The custom premium rubberized lanyard was equipped with a stainless quick-snap on one end and a ball-bearing swivel with a marine brass triangle clip on the other. The triangle brass clip is designed to lock onto the mating brass Torx holes of the pliers as anchoring points. Unlike a common lanyard, this will not easily over-twist and will maintain perfect retention and alignment when you extend the pliers from the hoster during use. This accessory makes it easier to carry and access in the field and prevents it from dropping and being lost.

One can send in the plier, and we shall update your plier to the latest version with four sets of titanium mating screws instead of brass. The improved main titanium pivot mating screw is also updated. This makes the plier about 11% lighter than the original version.
