Firenock's newly patent-pending Titanium Carbon Weave AeroStab is the only Titanium Carbon Weave stab that addresses not only Vibration control but also the structure rigidity that Target shooters demand.
Our initial AeroStab 100% titanium hollow stabilizer is excellent until the total length exceeds 16". We recognized that due to the laziness of the titanium. When the shooter loaded the front of the stabilizer bar with a lot of weight, it took the bar over a few seconds to calm down before one could shoot, as the titanium AeroStab bar at the original 12mm OD was not as rigid as the shooter desired. Knowing that we went for a more involved bar design. We still demand vibration and high-frequency cancellation of what soft titanium can do. At the same time, target shooters wanted more rigid bars without the swings. Thus, this design led to this new US utility patent. We use a 0.5mm thick wall of GR2 titanium and then wrap it with multiple 4K/4K carbon weave cloths like in AeroWeave arrow construction.
These new AeroStab Titanium Carbon Weaved bars come in three sizes and lengths. The lengths range from 24 " to 33 inches. Since we cut them at our office and put them together on-site, we can technically make them any length our customers desire.
Below are three sizes and their weight per inch (gram/oz), and each will be installed with two 7071-T5 aluminum bushings for front and back, which are Type 2 level 3 black hard-coated:
- 14 mm OD; (3.65 gram / 0.123 oz per inch), bushing weight (7.48 gram / 0.26 oz) each
- 17 mm OD; (4.11 gram / 0.125 oz per inch), bushing weight (10.79 gram / 0.38 oz) each
- 20 mm OD; (5.05 gram / 0.178 oz per inch), bushing weight (13.61 gram / 0.48 oz) each
Thus, a BIG 33" bar of 20mm OD would be (0.178x33)+(0.48x2), which will end up being 6.8 oz as a complete bar of 33" with over 100 plus lb of loading capacity at the tip.
