    Firenocks

Posted by Eric K on Aug 20th 2023

Finally I have found lighted nocks that work every time and fit properly arrows. I got so sick of nockturnal brand lighting up just from nocking an arrow and lumenocks either not Turing on or falling out of an arrow that I was about to give up. Then I tried firenock, a bit more expensive but after using them it well worth the price, the work flawlessly!

A STYLE HUNTING FIRENOCK LIGHTED NOCK SYSTEM (3)

I purchased these nocks as a test replacement for the Nufletch Ignitor nocks which I've been using for years. I liked the Ignitor nocks namely because they were easy to turn off. I'm 50+ years old and had problems turning off Luminocks and other brands due to the starburst glare the nocks would produce, especially in darker settings. But the problem I have with Ignitors is that I shoot an 80#+ bow with a 31' DL and encountered issues with the nocks occasionally shattering upon release. This issue resulted in a lost 8 point buck (which survived) and a couple lucky recoveries. Supposedly the nocks were re-engineered this year to withstand higher poundage bows, but I encountered a new problem where the nocks would often fall off in flight. A friend found a thread in ArcheryTalk where Firenocks were recommended for high poundage bows, so I decided to give them a try and just bought a 3 pack to get started. The installation instructions were clear, the nocks seem well made and, importantly, are easy to turn off. I've taken them to the range and found arrows with the Firenocks print about the same as my arrows with the Ignitors, I just needed a slight elevation adjustment. The nocks are expensive, but worth it if they hold up, and most importantly, don't fail in the woods.

Continued to be impressed with Firenock. Shipping was faster than expected, fit was exceptional. Looking forward to this years IN deer season and how these will perform.
