Many had asked if we sell titanium mod screws for many bows. This is the section where you can purchase a set of mod screws for your bow. We offer the most commonly used sizes and shapes in a set of two. They range from 4-40 to 8-32 in B (button head), F (flat head), and S (socket head) sizes; SAE-standard sizes and shapes, full thread. i.e., the screw length is measured by the shank only, excluding the head; under the head for button and socket, while the flat head length is measured based on the entire length of the screw!
You can also choose between the materials in GR2 and GR5 titanium. GR5 has a tensile strength of 350% that of blue steel, while GR2 is about the same strength as machine brass. The reason we usually ship the GR2 with the standard bow/crossbow kit is that, if one over-tightens or uses an impact driver with a GR5 screw, the material is so hard that it can actually pull the thread out of the cam. Another thing to remember, Titanium technically does not yield. If you torque it to the max without knowing exactly what it can be, it will break, instead of yielding a little! So it is also recommended that you flood the thread hold and screw with blue loctite, snug to fit, for best results.
NOTE: Not all screws are available in GR2 and GR5. We shall send you what you requested, unless it is not offered!
