AeroRest Micro-adjust

Firenock Micro-adjust AeroRest utilizes the same C-frame as the standard AeroRest. Thus, all that is great about the Standard AeroRests apply to the two Micro-adjust sub-versions. The Micro-adjust AeroRest’s ability is actually US patented (US Patent: 8,967,133). But what is so special about it? The answer lies in its capacity to adjust both vertically and horizontally at the same time with only one fastener. Further, because both axes are based on a vernier scale micrometer, when we say “micro,” we mean possible visible adjustments as fine as 0.1mm per direction.

There are currently two sidebar lengths to choose from during purchase for the Micro-adjust AeroRest. These options are to accommodate nearly any vertical bow in the market. The standard sidebar can extend up to 15mm from the AeroRest mounting surface, while the longer one allows another 10mm for a total of 25mm of extension from the AeroRest surface. This more extended sidebar has proven to accommodate bow risers with a sight window portion as thick as 1.25”.

There are quite a few improvements for the 2020 Micro-Adjust AeroRest for the vertical bow.  

• It has three flange ball bearings instead of the two like previous years.
• The bow mount bracket is equipped with two identical OD flange ball bearings. This allows one to swap the position of the knob from top to bottom. This feature will allow better access to the vertical control knob on the bow's designs with a cable guide that floats close to the top of the AeroRest frame.  
• The third flange ball bearing is added at the base of the horizontal control knob.
• The Horizontal Control Knob is made out of a single piece stainless instead of a brass knob on top of a stainless shaft; this allows for more precise horizontal carriage control alone with the bearing.
• The size of the dual-axis controls T-Nut increases by 400%, so it should hold up against over-tightening and breakage.
• With all these new features, it is still under 2oz in weight.

Notes:

• It is critical that one must not drop their bow holding hand until arrow hit the target
• Surprise release/back tension releases are usually not compatible with AeroRest
• Spine your arrow correctly before shooting with AeroRest.
